Kieva Mirasch is an Alchemist and Doctor with a few key points of focus; the mortuary, experimental, morbid, and medicinal. She creates medicines, funerary agents such as embalming fluids and supplies, performs embalming's and the odd taxidermy piece, and dissects cadavers and ashkin to further her research into anatomy and the undead. She is a practicing doctor and often performs surgeries and the like, though much of her work is centered on alchemical avenues of healing.She began her training in her early adulthood, travelling frequently from her home to Thavnair to learn with the alchemist's there. The years passed by uneventfully by her account, and eventually she gained skill proficient enough to be gifted the title of Master Alchemist.Not much else is typically known about her, most of her life and personhood kept close to her chest. She's happy to just be her profession: the alchemist at the top of a few people's lists and nothing more. It surprises her to this day when someone takes a direct interest in getting to know her, and she doesn't quite know how to respond in nearly every case.She is a practicing stoic, often low energy, well thought out in her responses, eloquent and properly mannered, and extremely hard to rile up into any sort of impassioned emotions. Somewhat prone to overly sterile or formal speech and dry delivery in her statements, it's a blessing that she rarely comes off as cold.Occasionally she does venture into the wilds to treasure hunt, remove threats from old ruins, exterminate the undead, and to train her body and better hone her fighting skills. More often people catch her dressed in armour, though she does not consider adventuring to be her main line of work.She's a long practiced and skilled Warrior, and she thrills in friendly spars and the like. Many know the honoured doctor Kieva as a pleasant, professional, kind, and occasionally eccentric soul. Some few unfortunately know something fairly different.Those familiar with the black market and it's dealings have likely seen her around. Mainly, she provides illegal substances and medicines, banned reagents, and medical treatments far on the side of unethical.Though, 'treatments' is an inaccurate descriptor.She is a fairly big name in the underground market, and her coffers definitely reflect that. Many addicts seek her out for their fix, her product pure, potent, and safe - if consumed correctly. She often gets new clients hooked with small doses, professionalism, and safety.Occasionally she acts as debt collector, breaking mind and body in what can only be described as torture by those who witness, experience, or hire her for her services. Have someone who hasn't paid their debts? She's always looking for new patients to experiment on. Most do not die under her scalpel, though she does charge a hefty price to hold back and leave someone alive at the end of her experimentation. Heftier, too, to give any sort of pain medication or anesthetic.Currently, she keeps very few people in the underground market as colleagues, but she does have some contacts. Not so much a lone wolf, she often supplies other marketers with various alchemicals they cannot procure themselves, for either payment in gil or 'willing' patients for her research.In general, she has a reputation for being trustworthy, level headed, consistent, and most importantly, discreet and private. It's unknown how much time before this period of her life she had her fingers in the belly of the black market, but she had begun to develop fairly consistent and deep contacts and gained a name for herself.
Some say they knew her for many years before word of her got out, others say they've never heard of her.

Ul'dahn Underground
38-40

These years were particularily active for her, many lost souls finding themselves on her operating table.
She had a love for performing 'live embalmings', and she is continuing to experiment with just the right mix of chemicals to replace the bodily fluids to have someone both preserved and alive.
So far, she has been unsuccessful.

VII.

Present Day
40-present

Kieva can often be found around the city states, and for the most part, one would only assume she was dealing in underground markets if they were to gain that information from someone who had dealings with her themselves.
Her day job is that of an alchemist and doctor, which isn't too far off of her private dealings. She is night and day, completely unassuming to most, and to those in the know, a sadistic monster who gets her kicks wherever she can manage.

Warrior

Kieva is an experienced and well trained warrior. She enjoys getting herself into friendly spars, taking odd jobs that require a bit of extra muscle, as well as hunts.
She has been learning a majority of her life, and considers herself to still have more to learn and master despite where she already is.

Romance

I'm open to romance plots, but please keep in mind that this character is extremely slow burn and may take months to a year or more to warm up to someone enough to develop a romantic attraction.

Alchemist / Doctor

Kieva's main passion is alchemy and medicine, and she can often be hired to craft potions, reagents, inks and grimoires, and so on.
She is a also a knowledgeable doctor and often takes work at a small clinic in Gridania or at various wards around the city states.

Kieva is a competent Alchemist and she is open to taking on students. She prefers one on one teaching rather than large classes, and I am available for plotlines involving this.

Bounty / Treasure Hunting

In her spare time Kieva will head out for a day of treasure hunting or monster hunting. Anything to get her hands on some interesting reagents, after all!
Occasionally her work also takes her into the palace of the dead, the main problems long taken care of having left many undead and otherwise behind in the halls. She is tasked with both mapping the winding halls and exterminating anything she finds inside.

Debt Collector

Kie often has jobs for others, or takes up work collecting debts for the Order of Nald'thal. Either via gil collection, condemnation orders, or vengeance orders.
Otherwise, she takes jobs hunting down debtors and takes her sweet time wringing the gil out of them.

Horror

Do you want a scene more on the dark side? I have you covered! While this character isn't outright evil, she is willing to toy with the unethical and push boundaries.

She is ever curious, willing to press the boundaries of experimentation, and kill. Often when her 'patients' do expire, she takes her time in dissecting them and using their bodies to further her more proper research. And, too, taking trophies for herself.

Romance

She often seeks out those who mesh well with her deeper desires, a partner in crime, if you will. Though the idea of finding a lover unaware of the life she lives is more enticing than an extra pair of hands helping her open someones chest up.

She is very active in the black market, dealing in drugs and disappearing people. She thrills in taking a life and inflicting as much pain as possible, and sometimes, she even discovers something that actually does further medical research.She occasionally hires the odd courtesan, and she hasn't placed herself on their bad side, thus far. She's known mainly to hire courts to cuddle, especially if they look like someone she otherwise has an interest in.
